Quaker Meetinghouse Celebrates Marion Manley: Miami’s First Woman Architect
Marion Manley is finally getting the recognition she deserved in her lifetime. Miami’s first woman architect, responsible for much of the design of the University of Miami’s mid-century modern architecture, was celebrated at the Miami Friends Meeting on Sunday, March 6, 2011 with a lecture and open house co-sponsored by Dade Heritage Trust as part of Dade Heritage Days.
