Time For Some Fun?
First movie night, then a picnic -- what's not to like?
Just a reminder that Friday the 24th will be our first Peace & Popcorn event, a screening of The Help. Doors open at 7:00 and the film rolls (or at least the DVD spins) at 7:30. Come early for snacks and stay late for discussion and socializing.

Peace & Popcorn
Miami Friends Meeting is pleased to announce a new monthly event: Peace & Popcorn will take place on the fourth Sixthday (Friday) of the month. Friends may gather to view a feature film, documentary, or short video, and then stay for discussion and snacks.
The first feature on the 24th of this month will be the Oscar-nominated film, The Help. With the Oscars being awarded two days later, this is very timely. IMDb has this to say about the plot:
